Technical SEO

Real technical SEO, not generic recipes.

We audit, diagnose and execute. We improve Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawl budget and critical migrations without hurting rankings.

Technical SEO is the least sexy layer of SEO and the most profitable in 2025. While the market focuses on content and backlinks, there are still sites that cannot be crawled properly, that take 5 seconds to load on mobile, that have no structured data, that redirect badly, that mix canonicals. Those are the quick wins almost nobody is taking.

At Pixel Labs we do technical SEO from the code side, not from the PowerPoint side. When we detect a problem, we fix it. When the URL architecture needs to be modified, we handle the redirects. When every product page needs JSON-LD, we implement it.

What we audit, concretely

  • Crawl and indexation — robots.txt, sitemap, canonicals, meta-robots, duplication, pagination, redirect chains.
  • Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, CLS in CrUX (field data) and Lighthouse. Root-cause diagnosis and fix plan.
  • Content architecture — URL structure, heading hierarchy, internal linking, crawl depth.
  • On-page — title, description, Open Graph, hreflang, structured data (JSON-LD), schema markup.
  • Server logs — what Googlebot actually crawls, 4xx/5xx errors, response time.
  • Performance — images, fonts, CSS, JS, CDN, cache headers, HTTP/2 or HTTP/3.
  • Security — HTTPS, HSTS, security headers, mixed content.
  • Mobile — viewport, tappable targets, responsiveness, legible fonts.

Migrations: the place where most is lost

One of the moments when a company can lose most in Google is during a migration: domain change, platform change, URL structure change or full redesign. We have seen sites lose 60% of their traffic due to a poorly executed migration.

Our methodology covers: pre-migration audit, URL-to-URL redirect mapping, validation of canonicals and hreflang in the new environment, daily monitoring in Search Console for the first 30 days, and immediate correction of any drop detected. If you have a migration scheduled, call us before, not after.

What we build

Technical audits

Complete report with 100+ points reviewed: crawl, indexation, meta, schema, CWV, server logs.

Implementation

We do not only diagnose: we execute the fixes. Own code or integration with your technical team.

SEO-safe migrations

Domain, platform or URL structure change without losing traffic. 301 redirects in detail.

Internationalisation

Correct hreflang, domain strategy (ccTLD, subdirectories or subdomains), localised content.

Structured data

Full JSON-LD: Organization, Product, FAQ, Article, BreadcrumbList, HowTo, Review. Search Console validation.

Core Web Vitals

Focused work to move LCP, INP and CLS to green at the 75th percentile of real users.

Why choose us

Real metrics

We measure CrUX (field data), not only Lighthouse. SEO is no longer won in the lab.

We execute, not only recommend

We deliver implemented fixes or integrate with your team. No reports destined for a drawer.

Multi-language without drama

Hreflang, x-default, per-language sitemap, international strategy. We have done it for years.

Migrations without losses

Proven methodology: pre-audit, redirect plan, post-monitoring. No traffic drops.

Schema.org with no tricks

Valid markup that Google actually renders. Rich results, not just "technically correct" schema.

Honest reporting

Monthly reports with what works and what does not. No data massaging to justify the fee.

Frequently asked questions

How long does technical SEO take to show results?
Technical changes take effect quickly (2–8 weeks) because Google recrawls and reindexes. Content and authority changes take longer (3–6 months). We give you an honest report from the start with realistic expectations.
Can you improve a site you did not build?
Yes. We work equally well on WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Drupal, Webflow, Next.js, Nuxt, Astro and virtually any stack. Also on sites built with closed templates: there are important fixes that can still be implemented.
What is the difference between technical SEO and content SEO?
Technical SEO ensures Google can crawl, index and understand your site correctly. Content SEO deals with which keywords you target and which topics you cover. They are complementary: the best content will not rank if the site is slow or has indexing problems.
How much does an audit cost?
From €1,200 for a complete technical audit (sites up to 500 URLs). Larger projects are quoted after an initial call. If you hire us for implementation afterwards, the audit fee is deducted from the budget.
Do you guarantee first position in Google?
No. Any agency that promises that is lying. Google does not give guarantees to anyone. What we do guarantee is executing best technical practices, measuring impact honestly, and responding with data if it does not work as expected.
Do you work with Search Console?
Always. It is the official source. We analyse queries, CTR, coverage, Core Web Vitals and errors. If you do not have Search Console configured yet, we set it up as part of the first week.
